Our first Literacy Night of the year had a good turn-out.  Parents were encouraged to bring their children to read books as a family in the comforts of their pijamas and blanket.  There was also hot chocolate and cookies to set a relaxing tone.  To start the evening Marina read the "Na Magamigeg Flanders" poem followed by Cynthia reading "Proud as a Peacock, Brave as a Lion".  To end the evening Ivan read one of his favorites, "It's Christmas David".  Middle school students also had story boards on display to show their hard work during the past 2 weeks in Ms. Dedam's Language Arts class.
