The staff took part in the 2nd edition of door decorating called, Deck the Halls. The doors and hallways are beautifully decorated and everybody is a winner. Official winners are Cynthia's grade 3 class. Tied for 2nd are grade 1a, grade 1b, grade 2b, grade 4a and grade 4b. Tied for 3rd are grade 5a, grade 7a and the computer room. Honorable mention goes to the wellness corner of the hallway. Come and see the great work done by staff and students.
A huge thanks goes out to all the parents/guardians who came out for Math Night. Games were made per grade level to bring home to help children stregthen math skills and have fun at the same time. A list of math websites is available below. Laughs, fun and learning were had by all!Congratulations to all the parents/guardians that won fabulous prizes!

National Child Day and Anti-bullying
Week The children of Elsipogtog School celebrated
National Child Day on Wednesday November 20, 2013, the theme for the
celebration was “I am Special”. The
celebration started first thing in the morning in the Elsipogtog School gym,
Father Angus started with a prayer and then he went around the gym to bless the
children. Grade 2 teacher Maureen
Redmond read “The Rights of the Child” while the children lined up and brought
up pictures depicting each right. Principal
Jesse, read the intentions and afterward Crystal O’Neil came up to talk about

Thank you to Josie Augustine for the wonderful blessing and smudging. Thank you to Gooo Francis for the wonderful singing and drumming. Thank you to family members who joined us as we honor and remember their loved ones (former Elsipogtog students) who are now like the Angels in Heaven.
