Once a month our students are taking a few moments in their classes to Stand Up Against Bulllying. As part of our ongoing campaign against Bullying, an announcement is made by the principal asking the whole school to stand up against bullying behaviors. Our staff has worked hard in prevention and education to correct bullying behaviors. We teach our kids to be respectful to themselves, adults and their classmates. Each month we honor students with the 7 sacred teachings. The theme for November was Honesty and the theme for December is Courage.
Our annual Jump Rope for Heart campaign has begun. Proceeds will go to the Heart and Stroke Foundation with a small portion returning to the school. Heart Disease touches us all, be generous and support the students as they collect funds for this great cause. Our Jump Rope activity will be taking place on Friday, May 25th at 1:00 pm. Check the website for other information at www.jumpropeforheart.ca.
